PT Meratusjaya Iron & Steel is a joint venture between PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk and PT Aneka Tambang (Persero) Tbk, a pioneer in the establishment and operation of iron & steel industry in Kalimantan, which is located in Batulicin, District Tanah Bumbu, South Kalimantan Province. PT Meratusjaya Iron & Steel is developing ironmaking plant with rotary kiln technology with a capacity of 315,000 tons per year and the 2x14 MW power plant based WHRB.
