The U.S. Embassy in Jakarta is seeking an individual for the position of Security Investigator in the Regional Security Office and Financial Clerk in the Financial Management Center.

Receptionist - Jakarta
Basic Function of Position
  • The job holder serves as the receptionist for the Local Security Office and is assigned to various locations as directed by the Regional Security Officer (RSO). Meets and greets all visitors to the US Embassy and Leased Swing Space office. Gives appropriate guidance and directions to visitors and facilitates their arrival and departure from the Embassy compound and Leased Swing Space Office. The receptionist will collect identification and issue appropriate badges. He/she will also serve as an interpreter for the RSO, ARSO and Marine Security Guard.

Chauffeur - Jakarta
Basic Function of Position
  • The job holder is responsible for providing all transportation for the Resident Country Director (RCD), Deputy Resident Country Director (DRCD), and any VIP visitors for the Corporation and will take on special duties and assignments at the direction of the RCD.

Protocol (Program Assistant) - Jakarta
Basic Function of Position
  • The incumbent supports the operational requirements of the US Mission to ASEAN (USASEAN), including protocol and liaison with officials of ASEAN and its member-states, support for outreach programs and program developments, and administrative duties. S/He assists senior Foreign Service National with reporting and research duties and provides administrative and secretarial support to Mission Officers, Ambassador’s Office Management Specialist, and Eligible Family Member staff.

Mechanic Carpenter - Jakarta
Basic Function of Position
  • The incumbent performs full journey level in carpentry and building construction trade. S/He performs wood construction, renovation, installation, preventive maintenance, and repairs on extensive range of small and large wood structures and wood accessories for various Governments held properties.

Shipment Assistant - Jakarta
Basic Function of Position
  • This position is served as Shipping Assistant in Transportation Office, responsible for inbound and outbound shipment of personal effects shipment, and also supplies shipment. S/He clears the shipment through customs and prepares import duty exemption required paperwork through host government.

Procurement Agent - Surabaya
Basic Function of Position
  • The job holder serves as the Procurement Agent for U.S. Consulate General Surabaya and Consular Agency Bali. He/she responds to requests from mission agencies. Handles procurement actions for various equipment, supplies, and services by preparing the appropriate documents through the ILMS (Integrated Logistics Management System). Handles vehicle purchases for official use, rental of equipment, and local petty cash purchases. Drafts, prepares, and negotiates contracts for items such as (but not limited to) gasoline, internet provides, and other means of communication. Is responsible for ensuring services are received, supervising contractors' performance when necessary and taking corrective actions. Manages trainings, seminars, and other events, and manages offices' subscriptions, work on non-routine procurements, visits.

SDT Guard Supervisor - Surabaya
Basic Function of Position
  • The incumbent supervises Surabaya Surveillance Detection Team (SDT) members during a shift under the supervision of the Senior Team Leader (Coordinator). S/He is responsible for coordinating SDT members’ activities, on the job training, and reporting. In the absence of the Senior Team Leader, the incumbent may be asked to assume his/her duties.
