Tax Assistant Manager - Based : Jakarta
Responsibilities:
  • In conjunction with the Country Tax Manager, analyzing relevant tax laws and regulations as they apply to CSSS’s business, doing primary tax research, negotiating with local tax authorities on any tax implication applied for CSSS’s businesses in Indonesia.
  • Ensuring the implementation of tax planning advice agreed by business unit and Cargill Tax and Customs function.
  • Provide advice and assist business unit in any tax and customs facilities applicable to the BU.
  • Provide tax advice on day to day business activities.
  • Provide monthly tax status update reports to Country Tax Manager.
  • In conjunction with Country Tax Manager, managing income tax and indirect tax audits for CSSS’s companies in Indonesia.
  • Ensure appropriate documents/information required by the Indonesian tax office in respect of any tax dispute are provided within the required timeline
  • Working with the Controller’s group, the Cargill Tax and Customs function and business unit to ensure favorable and timely resolution of tax disputes for Cargill’s businesses in Indonesia.
  • In conjunction with Country Tax Manager, managing income tax and indirect tax audits for CSSS’s companies in Indonesia.
  • Ensure appropriate documents/information required by the Indonesian tax office in respect of any tax dispute are provided within the required timeline
  • Working with the Controller’s group, the Cargill Tax and Customs function and business unit to ensure favorable and timely resolution of tax disputes for Cargill’s businesses in Indonesia.

  • Working with the Controller’s group and business unit administrative functions to ensure standard tax compliance procedures are properly implemented within CSSS locations in Indonesia.
  • Working with the Controller’s group and business unit administrative functions to create a process for the efficient, timely and accurate tax returns preparations for CSSS’s companies in Indonesia.
  • Ensuring tax object reconciliation is maintained on monthly basis for all types of tax reporting within Cargill entities in Indonesia.
  • Working with Country Tax Manager and the BUs administrative functions for preparation of transfer pricing reports for CSSS entities in Indonesia.
  • Responsible for preparation of International tax packages reporting including internal tax schedules reporting for CSSS’s companies in Indonesia.
  • Ensuring deferred tax accounting balance is properly reported in accordance with US and Local GAAP.
  • In conjunction with Country Tax Manager, managing income tax and indirect tax audits for CSSS’s companies in Indonesia.
  • Ensure appropriate documents/information required by the Indonesian tax office in respect of any tax dispute are provided within the required timeline
  • Working with the Controller’s group, the Cargill Tax and Customs function and business unit to ensure favorable and timely resolution of tax disputes for Cargill’s businesses in Indonesia.
  • In conjunction with Country Tax Manager, providing tax education and training and serve as source of tax information for the business unit and Functions in day to day operations.
  • In conjunction with Country Tax Manager, conducting tax awareness training for finance team and other departments as necessary.
  • Communicate update in tax regulations to the related people in the CSSS Business Unit
Requirements:
  • University degree in accounting or tax
  • Thorough understanding of Indonesian tax laws.
  • Understanding of tax treaty between respective countries effecting CSSS’s operation in Indonesia.
  • Minimum 5 years of tax experience in multinationcal company or consulting firm.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Good computer skills especially Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work long hours, proactive, initiate, independent, sense of urgency, team player, accurate/careful
  • Ability to implement changes.
  • High ethical standards.
  • Having State Tax Brevet certification (at least A and B) is an advantage

Mill Manager - Based: Manismata, Kalimantan
Business Unit: TOA HSL
Position Purpose
  • Manage all aspects of operations (production, maintenance, laboratory, projects, product/by-product/waste logistics, EHS, Quality Assurance, Human Resources, training) of a palm oil mill
  • Ensure the palm oil mill runs safely and productively within specifications and within budget (as per volume and yield expectations)
  • Manage and oversee the safety, environmental, food safety and security programs
  • Manage as per Chairman’s Quality Award criteria
  • Manage all budgets and costs (production, repairs and maintenance, admin/services/waste disposal, base level)
Requirements:
  • Education or equivalent experience
  • Technical education (at engineers or bachelors level)
  • Good financial and budgeting skills
  • Strong in EHS / very knowledgeable in processing and construction safety
  • Know and understand technical equipment of palm oil mill incl. jetty , receivable, turbines, utilities, sewer, etc.
  • Knowledgeable in design, installation conditions, operating efficiencies (start up/shutdowns, etc.) maintenance and "management of change" related to milling
  • experienced in mill maintenance
  • know and understand technological aspects of milling process
  • know different "characteristics" of FFB deliveries to optimize/guide optimal efficiencies of actual deliveries
  • proven leadership skills: starter/builder/transformer
  • see the core competencies of Asia-Pacific oilseeds (separate document)
Knowledge “areas”:
  • Mechanical equipment, especially related to palm oil mill operations
  • Engineering knowledge – unit operations and transport processes, fluid mechanics and thermodynamics
