INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN (INTEC)
  • As a instrument technician have responsible for execution preventive and corrective of  instrumentation devices,  develop procedures,  review critical of spare part, participate related join commissioning for the  testing new equipment and reliable teamwork by continuously improving competency to achieving plant maintenance standard.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Technical Diploma/College Diploma of Process Control/Electrical/Electronic
  • Experienced in Oil & Gas Company
  • Understood Oil & Gas Process Control, PLC, DCS, Metering System & Can Troubleshooter on Process Instrumentation System
  • Demonstrates calibration of  transmitters, control valves, controllers, H2S, H2O, GC analyzers, etc
MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN (MT)
Responsibilities:
  • Compliance with all relevant safety regulations including COPI Core Values and Health, Safety and Environmental policies, and where applicable the asset Safety Case.
  • Attend and participate in safety meetings.
  • High safety responsibility to himself, co-workers, plant and associated equipment.
  • Follow plant safety emergency response procedures in event of an emergency.
  • Ensuring all Maintenance Procedures and Written Instructions are followed and adhered to.
  • Regular monitoring and inspection of the plant and process rotating and stationary equipment, including taking readings and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Carries out Condition Monitoring checks as directed.
  • Report in a timely manner any critical unsafe situations to the line Supervisor.
  • Provide leadership and technical guidance to contract personnel.
  • Provide comprehensive and accurate verbal / written handover at crew changes.
  • Follow Competency training Program, demonstrate competency at Mechanical level 1 standard.
  • Achieve set goals and personal development programs.
  • Correct Personal Protective Equipment is used when carrying out tasks.
  • Ensuring hand tools and equipment are in good safe working order.
  • Use experience and knowledge to investigate and rectify technical problems working mainly unsupervised, including working with Vendors.
Qualification & Experience:
  • D3 Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5-7 years experience in the chemical, oil, and gas related industry.
  • Time served Tradesman.
  • Experience in Mechanical Rotating Equipment maintenance.
  • Experienced with Gas Turbines, Compressors and Pumps.
  • Experienced in Conditioning Monitoring Programs.
  • Knowledge in HVAC systems.
  • Strong Safety and Environment awareness.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and within a team.
  • Ability to follow a plan, read and follows manuals, and asks for guidance when required.
  • Personal motivation and self learning ability.
  • Effective communicator at all levels, fluent in English oral and written.
  • Ability to give guidance to other mechanical personnel, assisting them through their levels of competency in the competency program.
  • Ability in developing maintenance procedures.
Drilling Engineer (DE)
  • This position will be responsible to ensure wells are drilled in the safest, most technically competent, cost effective and environmentally responsible manner. This role is a key interface with asset teams and government agencies (BPMIGAS).
Specific Job Responsibilities:
  • Designs and prepares drilling programs for wells. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    • Well head design and specification,
    • Casing design,
    • Bit selection and optimization,
    • Cement program design,
    • Drill string design,
    • Directional well planning,
    • Pore pressure prediction, mud weight/fracture gradient analysis,
    • Drilling fluids optimization.
  • Torque and Drag Analysis of both drill pipe and casing strings.
  • Responsible for the design of casing strings based on defined Load Cases, metallurgical requirements (CO2, H2S) and the well s Basis of Design.
  • Provides technical support to the onsite Drilling Supervisors. Makes recommendations to improve operations for increased efficiency and to overcome operational difficulties.
  • Travels to the field as necessary to support field operations.
  • Specify, coordinate and monitor activities of third party service providers to ensure accurate Scopes of Work and acceptable contractual performance. Recommends corrective actions as required for non-performing contractors.
  • Prepares AFE s, assists in budget preparation and economic evaluations, prepares final cost summaries and end of well reports.
  • Serves as a mentor to less experienced engineers.
  • Conducts pre/post project reviews to identify areas for improvement.
  • Monitors historical and current performance to benchmark progress.
  • Directs analysis of failures and problems.
  • Improves existing technology through design analysis and assesses new technology for potential application.
  • Works closely with the respective asset teams to provide well programs, cost estimates, and all associated aspects of drilling technical support.
  • Liaise with BPMIGAS for well approvals, funding issues and technical issues.
Requirements:
  • Engineering Degree – BS or MSc.
  • +5 years of drilling engineering experience.
  • Able to work within a team setting but also be self directed in regards to workloads and deadlines.
  • Experience with Managed Pressure Drilling Techniques is desirable.
  • Experience with Landmark Engineering Software is advantageous.
