Assistant Director/Head, Finance Integration Division
Requirements
  • PhD degree preferably in Economics or Finance.
  • Extensive supervisory experience, within a senior management position with a minimum eight (8) years high-level experience in economic and financial sector issues particularly in analyzing economic/financial issues and providing policy advice.
  • In-depth knowledge of macroeconomic analysis, financial sector strategies and policies, and proven experience in research, public policy development and negotiation, and in working closely with government officials.
  • A sound understanding of international and regional issues, and knowledge of and commitment to ASEAN ideals.
  • Strong social and diplomatic skills; ability to work well with others and to professionally represent the ASEAN Secretariat
  • High-level interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills, including experience in cross-cultural environment and international settings.
  • Commitment to teamwork and collaborative work practices.
  • Competency in computer skills with adequate knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook where relevant to the position.
  • Proven ability for accuracy under pressure and adherence to deadlines.
  • Excellent command of English, written and spoken.

Assistant Director/Head, Human Resources Division
Requirements
  • Postgraduate degree, preferably in the area of Human Resource Management.
  • Extensive management experience, with a minimum of eight (8) years in a senior HR position.
  • High-level human resource management skills.
  • Strong leadership and administrative capabilities.
  • A solid understanding of international and regional issues, and knowledge of and commitment to ASEAN ideals.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate staff in a dynamic and demanding environment.
  • High-level interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills, including experience in cross-cultural environment and international settings.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain sound working relationships with government representatives, public and private sector organisations and other stakeholders.
  • Commitment to consultative and collaborative approaches and work practices.
  • Excellent command of English, written and spoken.
General Qualifications
  • Familiarity with diplomatic practices and protocol. Other required qualities are: computer literacy and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools; ability to multi-task, work long and irregular hours, and perform outside the usual job scope; and ability to function effectively independently and as part of a team.

Director Socio-Cultural Cooperation
Requirements
  • Postgraduate degree, preferably in relevant policy area(s).
  • Extensive management experience, with a minimum of ten (10) years in a senior management position, preferably in a regional or international organization.
  • Sound in-depth regional and international experience in public policy development and negotiation, and experience in briefing ministers and high level senior officials, preferably at the ASEAN level or in the region.
  • Strong corporate, strategic and business planning skills.
  • Strong leadership, management and administration capabilities.
  • Sound understanding of international and regional issues, and knowledge of and commitment to ASEAN ideals.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate staff in a dynamic and demanding environment.
  • Adequate financial, physical and human resource management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills, including experience in cross-cultural environments and international settings.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain sound working relationships with government representatives, public and private sector organizations and other stakeholders.
  • Commitment to consultative and collaborative approaches and work practices.
  • Excellent command of English, written and spoken.
General Qualifications
