MEN0066 – ENGINEER – GEOTECHNICAL
Responsibility:
- To carry out Geotechnical & Hydro Geological Group functions including : in pit & ex pit geotechnical mapping, Limit excavation assessments, daily field inspections, monitoring, CAD Drafting, data processing & analysis, reporting, etc. Directly supports Snr Engineering – Geotechnical covering all aspects and tasks undertaken by the Geotechnical & Hydro Geological Group
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Geology, Geological Engineering or Civil Engineering with at least 2 (two) years of related open pit experience
- Must have knowledge of technical software packages regularly used in mine & geotechnical engineering
- Technical knowledge in Geotechnical and Hydro Geological Engineering
- Strong leadership and a people oriented outlook
- Good written and oral communication skills
