Coordinator HSE & Project Controls (HSE) - (Kalimantan Timur - Sangatta)
Responsibilities:
- Obtain and collate the progress of Project HSE plan such as OTP, Risk Assessment, pre-construction checklist & review the implementation of all Dept & Contractor. Indentify and review the process of implementation and resolve anomalies liaise with HSE Coordinators/Supt HSE & Project Control & Supt Project.
- Provide various projects HSE Report focusing on high/ critical task stage of work. Immediate report shall be given to Supt. HSE in accordance with requirements established.
- Assist Supt. in implementation safety, health and environmental regulations and related standard and operating procedures, discuss and obtain approval from Supt HSE& Project Control, disseminate regulations and standard procedures to all HSE Coordinator and monitor its implementation.
- Conduct and oversee Contractor Management System HSE Audit program such as develop yearly HSE audit plan, provide/ review check list, form team, conduct audit to Dept & Contractor, audit analyzing, develop recommendations and provide reports.
- Coordinate & control the HSE training needs of all projects, develop/ review materials, arrange place, time, and participants, deliver the materials and conduct HSE training effectiveness evaluation. Review training gap analysis. Liaise with KPC training Dept to close out training gap.
- Facilitate equipment commissioning, review checklist, form team and schedule.
- Facilitate EPD departments & contractors staff in carrying out incident/ accident investigations in order to ensure quality process is used, the immediate and basic causes are analyzed properly using Primaica Chart, sound recommendations formulated and the reports are generated in a correct and timely manner.
- Develop monitoring and inspections plan, provide check list, form team, determine the areas, carry out the works, analyze the results, develop recommendations and provide reports to related parties.
- Assist the Superintendent HSE EPD as well as EPD Departments & Contractors in the safety campaign programs by conducting relevant safety training and awareness to EPD KPC and Contractors employees, and leading/ facilitating risk assessment, job safety analysis and planned job observations.
- Present safety statistics, incident recalls and any other safety information relevant to the works performed within the designated areas and provide gap analysis and action plan.
- Promote and reinforce compliance with KPC’s Safety rules and regulation to all staff and contractors
- Promote and reinforce compliance with KPC’s health and environmental management policy, monitor operational activities to identify non-conformances and taking the appropriate corrective measures.
- Establish section’s HSE annual operational budget, manage and control its implementation.
- To ensure the contractor’s HSE budget provided and do verifications to ensure KPC HSE requirement is implemented well.
- Co-ordinate & manage the filing and administration of all HSES documentation within EPD project both in manual and computerized systems.
Requirements:
- S1 with at least 3 years experience or D3 with at least 5 years experience.
- Working experience for HSE management system and has experience exposing to project management function.
- Strong background in HSE and standard implementation.
- Good interpersonal skills to liaise with personnel at all level from various departments/ divisions and contractors.

Responsibilities
- Supervise works done by MSD minor contract contractor to ensure that work conducted is carried out in a safe and timely manner, and time keeping is adhered to outlined task priorities,
- Coordinate work scheduling with KPCscheduler and Contractors scheduler to sinergize works done by MSD minor contractors with work done by KPCwork groups, OEM, supplier and other contractors,
- Execute MSD Work Management process for work identification, screening process, planning, scheduling, work execution, and work closure in related with works included on MSD minor contracts,
- Ensure that daily works schedule are conducted by Contractors to ensure parts, materials and other resources are prepared in advance and used efficiently,
- Monitor performance of MSD minor contract contractors against agreed KPI stated on contract document, ask contractors to develop action plan for each below than agreed KPI performance and monitor compliance to action plan,
- Maintain history of maintenance work done by MSD minor contract contractors, track/ trace part or component replacement related to works under MSD minor contract,
- Assist Superintendent of Maintenance Support on preparing and tendering MSD minor contracts,.
- Liaise and coordinate all service and repair activities with other coordinators, supervisors/ shift supervisors, and MOD personnel to align the related activities.
- Control the use of consumable parts, components, and labour in line with maintenace guidelines so that the cost efficiency of equipment is contributed.
- Conduct weekly house keeping inspection at contractor works area, and monthly equipment inspections, implementing safety health, and loss control elements to minimize accidents and / or incidents at the work place.
- Liaise with Original Equipment Manufacturers and or dealers to resolve, identify, implement and improve service, product support, and equipment problems.
- Liaise with MOD people to resolve, identify and improve contractors service and equipments problems.
- Liase with MSD Electric coordinator and Auto electricic Supervisors to identify and resolve all technical, safety and supervision aspect related to MSD Minor contract works and performance.
- Report all accidents and incidents involving MSD minor contract contractors to enable management to identify areas for improvement in work practices.
Requirements
- S1 Graduate from Mechanical/ Electrical/ Industrial Engineering with 3 years working experience
- Understand contract management system is advantages
- Understand how to develop contract, maintain contract KPI and how to monitor contract
- Analytical, problem solving skills together with mechanical aptitude to solve technical difficulties.
- Understanding of computerised maintenance and warehousing systems.
- Planning, backlog, and scheduling skills and experience.
- Leadership skills to direct and motivate the team.
- Detailed knowledge of KPCpolicies, procedures and regulations impacting Mine Maintenance
