The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Secretariat is the nerve centre of ASEAN, a regional inter-governmental organisation founded in 1967, to promote peace and stability, sustained economic growth, shared prosperity and social progress. Remuneration
- Successful candidate will be offered the post with a probation period of six months and monthly salary commensurate with his/her personal qualifications.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Input data to the data filing system
- Input all incoming and outgoing documents to the data filing system
- Maintain filing and recording of any incoming and outgoing fax including distribution to the relevant officers.
- Follow‐up email from ASEAN Member States.
- Operate the fax machine
- Operate fax machine to send and receive fax
- Make copy and attach the report of outgoing document to the concerned Division
- Follow‐up the incomplete incoming and outgoing fax documents.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Ensure incoming correspondence is submitted to the relevant recipient.
- Ensure outgoing correspondence is transmitted to the intended recipient.
Requirements
- Completion of appropriate technical or other training relevant to the position with a minimum two (2) years work experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Ability to operate as an effective team member.
- Entry level oral and written communication skills.
- Basic level in computer skills with adequate knowledge in Microsoft Office.

Remuneration

Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide administration and programme support to the Senior Officer, particularly in relation to administration, research, public outreach and engagement activities;
- Assist with the preparation of memoranda, research briefs, talking points, meeting reports;
- Assist in the development of administrative processes within the Division;
- Maintain relationships with divisions in ASEC, and external partners;
- Assist with the coordination of meetings, events and initiatives;
- Maintain records and ensure appropriate levels of access and confidentiality;
- Provide support to other team members on administrative policies and procedures as appropriate.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in political science, international relations, business, public policy, social science or other related fields from a reputable university;
- Minimum two (2) years of work experience in a related field;
- Demonstrated ability to plan and organise tasks and work flows
- Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines;
- Good oral and written communication skill;
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Cross-cultural sensitivity;
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain sound working relationships with stakeholders;

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR HUMAN RESOURCES
Requirements:- Postgraduate degree, preferably in the area of Human Resource Management.
- Strong corporate, strategic and business planning skills.
- Strong leadership and administrative capabilities.
- A solid understanding of international and regional issues, and knowledge of and commitment to ASEAN ideals.
- Extensive management experience, with a minimum of eight (8) years in a senior HR position.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate staff in a dynamic and demanding environment.
- High-level human resource management, financial and physical skills.
- High-level interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills, including experience in cross-cultural environment and international settings.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain sound working relationships with government representatives, public and private sector organisations and other stakeholders.
